The guarantee on your purchase starts on the day your shutters are delivered for 10 years. We warrant that our shutters will be free from structural defects, warping, significant paint or stain discolouration*.
Our ‘Trade Assured’ guarantee is an extended care package for your shutters, it covers the period of the third to the tenth anniversary of the delivery date, where we will repair or replace defective goods free of charge, this is providing the goods have not been misused and excludes general wear and tear.

Tradeshutters T&Cs
1. The guarantee on your purchase starts on the day your shutters are delivered to your premises and up to a period of 10 years.
2. The guarantee only applies to the goods in respect of:
A. Structural defects
B. Warping
C. Significant paint or stain discolouration
3. Where any Defects are caused by your actions or omissions (such as not being installed correctly or not adhering to the ‘After Care’ Instructions provided) then your guarantee may become null and void and therefore any repairs or replacements will not be covered by the guarantee.
4. If you have any questions or complaints about the product, please contact us providing us with photos of both the product and any related box/packaging – if you still have it – to enable us to make an assessment. 5. Where our goods are defective, we shall, as appropriate repair or replace the defective goods, or refund the price of the defective goods.
6. Exceptions:
• Failure to comply with the manufacturer’s instructions for use, whether by the named or any other person.
• Negligent or willful abuse or misuse of the product covered.
• Fire, flood, lightning, theft, explosion, or other causes external to the product covered.
• Scratching or denting from the direct application of a tool.
• Accidental damage.
• Water damage.
7. We are not responsible for the following costs:
• Repairs to interior or exterior paintwork/finishes, cosmetic items i.e. knobs, loss or damage to trim etc.
• Delivery or collection of product(s) for repair.
• Repairs to components subject to wear and tear, e.g. Loss of use of the product covered or consequential loss of any nature.
• Costs incurred in respect of the removal or reinstallation of the product.
• Loss of damage occasioned by happening through or in consequence of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy hostilities (whether war be declared or not) civil war, rebellion, revolution or civil commotion.
• Loss, destruction or damage directly occasioned by pressure waves caused by aircraft and other aerial devices travelling at supersonic speeds.
